After 20 years of exemplary service in the USAF, Charles M. Baker founded this corporation to continue his quest of providing innovative ideas and prompt, professional electrical and lighting services to private industry as well as federal and state governments. While in the USAF, Mr. Baker was honored at a congressional reception in Washington, DC for winning the federal government's Top Individual Energy Award in 1994. He was considered the DOD's top lighting expert and one of the main pioneers of the T-8 lighting system implementation for the federal government.  Mr. Baker lowered the cost of over 400 lighting items by 75 percent at the Defense General Supply Center in Richmond, VA.  He was selected to represent the DOD at several federal round tables in regards to energy saving procurements with 25 other federal agencies.

Mr. Baker is the DOD's top idea person for the suggestion program (currently the ideas program), with a record number of suggestions approved totaling 74, individual cash award bonuses totaling $260K over four years, and $1.2 billion in total savings, all electrical related.
